WELCOME TO CAMBRIAN FOUNDRY

OUR STORY

Established in 2007, Cambrian Foundry has its roots in Mid Wales.

We deal with all aspects of steel fabrication, from design concept to installation.

Working to clients’ specifications, our range of projects is diverse, and includes work for local authorities, utilities, commercial businesses and the general public. We have a highly skilled workforce and are committed to providing excellent service for every size of project – from small to large scale. As well as structural steel projects, we regularly take on smaller and lighter commissions. Whether it’s part of a larger project or just a one off, we take as much care and pride in these small steel fabrications as we do in our larger scale projects. With our fully equipped workshop, we offer you a high quality service at a competitive price.

Working with local suppliers, we can provide shot blast, galvanized and powder coat finishes to your specification.

We can provide in-house fabrication drawings, or work with supplied design files. We also use the services of an experienced CAD designer to provide 3D models and detailed design drawings for larger scale projects.

We provide structural steel in both commercial and domestic settings, with a site fitting service available upon request.

Cambrian Foundry is certified to EN1090-1:2009+A1:2011 Execution Class up to and including EXC2 for structural steel.

Certificate Number 1224-CPR-0706.

Gates & Handrails

We manufacture and install to a wide range of specifications including stainless steel and glass, powder coated or hot dipped galvanized.

All our fabrications are custom made to order, so you will always achieve a look that is unique to you.

From ornate scrollwork, to functional configurations, we can help you choose your design and finish.

Balustrades & Staircases

Whether you are looking for a contemporary or traditional design, our attention to detail ensures you receive a high quality product that not only stands the tests of time, but can create a stunning focal point for any environment.

Bespoke Manufacturing

Our fully equipped workshop is set up to manufacture a wide range of bespoke metalwork made to clients’ specifications.

We able to offer the following workshop services: Cutting, Welding (MAG and TIG), Guillotining, Pressing, Bending, Rolling and Drilling.

Agriculture & Fisheries

We provide a range of services to the agricultural sector from small scale fabrication and repair, to large scale installations including the replacement of industrial grid flooring.

We undertake work for the Environment Agency, both directly and on a sub-contract basis.

We manufacture and install fish passes designed to facilitate the upstream and downstream movement of fish and other aquatic fauna.

QUALITY ASSURED

CE Marking of fabricated structural steelwork became mandatory on 1 July 2014. All structural steelwork must be compliant to BS EN 1090-1 and its relevant execution class (EXC).

CE marking is applied to products to demonstrate its compliance with the appropriate manufacturing standard.

From January 1st 2021 the CE mark for structural metalwork was replaced by the UKCA mark in mainland Britain.
